Hey, any one know of considerstions,if any, when
putting 305 heads on a 350 block as far as water temp
control? I have no restrictor in the water neck. In
about three minutes the temp goes to 220. I have a 500
cfm carb on a quadra jet intake. There is an adapter
plate between the carb and the intake. Could the
intake need water flow from the rear (over cylinders 7
and 8) to the waterneck to allow flow to the radiator?
Any one had this problem or is it not a problem. The
motor is running a bit rough so I will now check for
vacuum leaks. Suggestions on timing would be helpful
if you have any. I have set initial timing to 10
before tdc. I think I want 36 total. The plugs are AC
43's.
