Nah-- don't believe it-- when it's 112 degrees in Tucson and it starts
raining-- desert thunderstorms accompanied by spectacular lightning
displays-- the temperature drops down into the seventies. During the
rainy season this happens almost every afternoon.
Phoenix, on the other hand......
I just got back from Christchurch, NZ late Sunday where it was rainy and
cold-- but it's winter down there.

Cool Heat ???
Have you ever been in Tucson, Arizona in August when it's 112 and
raining?
Much worst than St Louis, Chicago, New York or Key West at their worst
in
my opinion. July is almost as bad. The other 10 months are great to
wonderful.

You know you've been sweating when it run into your eyes and doesn't
sting.
