Keith,
          I happen to wear Tri-Focals.You know the ones that have no lines.Not 
good for much of anything but driving and reading.There a pain to weld with.My 
next pair will have a Bi-Focal lense with the rip your eyes out part on the top.
    
    I have had to wear glasses for 30 years, soon even coke bottles won't be 
strong enough.
