Yesterday the #552 Lakester came off the weld fixture at Skip Higginbotham's
LSR Shop in Pahrump after completion of some roll cage upgrades. (Photo
attached) She rested peacefully overnight on her own feet and today or
tomorrow the engine/trans will be set in for welding the mounting tabs. Then
the fun begins........trying to find places for the accessories.........fire
bottles, electronics, battery, water tanks, radiator and so on.........Big
thanks to Skip for the design/fabrication and Mayf for the many consultations
and support!
