Some time ago I saw an advert for a new type of lug nut system. It had a
barrel or cylindrical section which had on one end the tapered seat. this
part was slipped over the stud and into the wheel stud position and took up
all the space around the lug and wheel. then there was a kinda lock nut
looking nut with a flat bottom that was torqued down againt the other
doohickey. This all had the advantage of providing almost intimate contact
between the lug nut, wheel, and stud. It looked kinda cool also. Of course,
now you know that I have misplaced the ad: I think it was in the National
Dragster but cannot be sure of that and certainly no idea of who makes them.
Anybody recognise my simple description and know who these folk are? I am
putting some new wheels on my ral tiger and want some spiffy lug nuts even
though they may be covered.
