Speaking of heavy aircraft tires, I have some used Michelin airX 26 x 6.6R
14 tires, 14ply rated at 225mph and 10,000lb rating if anyone is interested.
They are heavy, have a few radial treads, and would require a split wheel to
be mounted.

As JD pointed out to me, page 16 of the 2003 rule book states that tires
with the mfg rated maximum speed moulded into the tire are acceptable to
that speed.

These might work for the front of Art Dick's F350 project - I think he needs
the load rating!

Man, you guys should see the tires used on .the SR-71. Heavy doesn't even
come close.
