When I started with the Merkur I used TBird aluminum space saver spare wheel
with 15" Goodyear front runners without problems or technical issues. OEM
wheels, I was assured by my friendly chassis engineer are tested to the same
specifications as normal wheels. Find the SAE numbers on the wheel, and try
to cross-reference with appropriate SAE spec and procedure. I think the
conclusion will be to use them. This is one issue I delegated to a team
member and cannot find the written note I received from him. I kept a log
of such important things, but cant for the life of me fine it. Its that CRS
thing again.....

Cant fix my F#%*ed up rear hubs today so I'm gonna lock up and go out
drinkin beer and listenin to some blues....
Perhaps a new approach tomorrow.
