Couple of questions there John.... Yes I've had an in-flight fire in a
Helicopter.... and it didn't scare me near as much as this one.... it was
just a fuel line issue and I was at a hover.... the crew chief on the ground
who had just seen me off had it out before the blades stopped turning....

The first carb fire Tonya had wasn't near as bad as this.... it was caused
from the distributor timing and her pumping the throttle to keep it
running.... just back fired and caught the air cleaner.... we fixed the
distributor 3 months ago and it's not been a problem since...

This one wasn't associated with that at all.... something was flowing a
massive amount of fuel onto the ground.... cause everytime I had it under
control it restarted and kept burning..... bout the only thing I can think
of that would do that is the float bowl vents.... none of the lines are
loose.... I've already checked that....

Oh well.... it's worse then I thought on further inspection the car's really
hurt pretty bad....

I'm going to sleep on this and start sorting out what it means to me in the
morning...

K
