Harry has converted his modified roadster to rear engine. Ron
Benham has a rear engine M/R. Are the rules being changed back to alow rear
engine M/R cars?

Rich,
As the rules currently stand Modified Roadsters must have the engine in front
of the driver. There is NO change to this configuration forcast for the near
future. Harry, Ron & Calvin Smith have all proceeded to construct these cars
on their own. To what end I can't imagine.
All three of these roadsters will run for time only at Bonneville if they show
up. Ron has mentioned that he will no longer compete at El Mirage the
remainder of this season.
