Netting and Roll Cage...
I'm working on a 85 Corvette and am going to put a safety net in the top of
the roll cage. At speedweek, the other vets I saw had the net ON TOP of
the roll cage which seems backward to me. If the car goes over, I would
want the netting on the UNDERSIDE of the roll cage so it didn't get worn
off in an extended slide.
Two questions:
1. For a GT class car, is there rule that "I missed" as to mounting a TOP
net above or below the roll cage? (I'm not talking about the side nets)
2. Suggestions for a good source of safety netting material??? Figure 4'
by 3' as a ball park.
