I hope someone out there can help me with a little problem. My '32 roadster has
a 350 Chev transmission,9" Ford rear with a 3:00 gear and 32" tall rear tires.
The Stewart-Warner (old) speedo. reads 15 mph slow. Does anyone know which gear
I need to put in the transmission to correct the speedo? My local Chev dealers
refuse to try to help, the speedometer shop wants to make up a gear reducer for
$150.00 and I really need to know... they come in different colors to denote
ratio. I THINK mine is red now, I will check if it is important to solving this
mystery. Thanks in advance.
