Howdy,
So at some time in the past, I lost the keepers to the specialty
cylinder head I have, and no others are available! anywhere!! so I thought
to grind the ends of the 7.2 mm valves to 7 mm and use standard keepers,
but the valve guy says the exhaust valves are too heavy for the rpm I want
to run, and I should be using lighter ones. So I order new lighter valves,
keepers, retainers.
and the guy calls me up this morning and says, the valves and
stuff are done , but we don't have any keepers.
now when I got done laughing, cause there ain't any other thing I can do,
I am told the keepers are standard Mitsubishi parts and I can (
and did ) get them from my local parts house, but still, its' just my luck

John,
Isn't MITSUBISI the people who brought us Pearl Harbor?
but Chevvies, common as dirt, can use keepers from your local NAPA store
...off th' shelf, and ya kin be back racin' within th' hour. ;-)
I guess that's why they're so pop'lar huh? -like belly buttons, ever'body's
got one...
