Keith,
when I worked in Fleet Services for the City of L.A., we used to lube the
gears on the construction equipment with a graphite spray lubricant
distributed by Champion Road Machinery International Corp of West Columbia,
South Carolina. You'll want part number 300CL. If you just can't get ahold
of it down there, let me know, I still have a can sitting in front of me I
can part with. This stuff should solve your problem
