Hey all,
If John Beckett ever says to you "Hey, I've got a
little concrete project down in Maxton I need some
help on.",....my advice is to think it over very
carefully.
A real good piece of advice I got one time from Jim
Bodenheimer was about welding. As eager as you might
be to weld...be sure to tack before running beads so
that the metal becomes pre heated and has less of a
tendency to warp the piece you are welding. This is
especially good to know if you are welding in the
winter time in an unheated garage. bring the metal
parts up to temp slowly by tack welding carefully.
