Color me Orange.......thought that color was known as " Competition Orange "
? As far as primers are concerned, you should call a major paint
manufacturer like DuPont, Rinson Mason, PPG, etc. They will know what will
work with high fill polyester and epoxy-self etching primers. Epoxy - self
etching primers are desoigned to work on bare steel or aluminum, as it bites
into the metal with acid. Just a thought, hate to see you waste very
$$$$$$$ paint. No paint is inexpensive today especially, reds, orange, blues
, golds and yellows.
