Doug, I could be wrong on this, as you have built a lot more engines
than me, but didn' t the 289 " Ford V8 go out of production in 1968 ?
I had thought that was the end of the line for those ....... I always
wanted to put one in my wife's pretty little ' 66 Mustang notchback ......
but she wouldn' t hear of it ...... she said the six ( BOAT ANCHOR )
got her around just fine ! She still has it, anchor and all .......
