I am travelling from the southern part of Ontario,ie Toronto to North
Carolina for the April meet at Maxton. The drive took us 17 hours last year
as we travelled through New York and then down through Pennsylvania. I was
wondering if any of you had any experience making the trip from the north to
the south , if you thought going through Michigan and down I-75 would be
faster or slower? IS there any highways I might have overlooked. The drive
through Pennsylvania is beautiful but is slow as much of it is on single
lane highway at 55 mph, and slower. You guys down there stop complaining
about the cold, it was a chilly 5 degrees this morning and there is a cold
front from Saskatchewan ,ie. out west on it's way. But , remember, the
southern most point of Canada is parallel with Northern California, it just
doesn't feel like it right now.
