I have no interesting accounts of how I got a 200 hat ('cause I didn't) but
I would like to just send out a message to say that this was my first time
to drive on the salt and it was a big thrill to just get my "D" license. We
met so many nice and interesting folks and just had a great time. SCTA does
a fantastic job of running this event and a big thank you is in order for
them as well as the Lionel Williams, John Beckett and Joe Timney team that
made it possible for me to live the dream of driving on the salt. Attached
is a photo of Dave Hinni with his new 200 hat and bottle of champagne, he
was so proud as he should be. Again, we sure enjoyed meeting all of you,
you are a great bunch of people!
