George; This is somewhat like my Vega. I kept the original sheetmetal box
sections that serve as a frame from the firewall back. My real frame is
inside the car above the floor. I did not see any reason to make another
floor over the frame and that would have made things more cramped. As my
original "frame" is still in place my new structure is roll bar bracing. The
front and rear axles are attached to the new tubes as is the roll bar/cage
and everything else. Hope this helps, feel free to request clarification.
