<div>The combined master cylinder/supply tank on the BN4 is pitiful, =
useless, especially if you need to bleed the brakes. Guess it was done to =
save money, as usual. Recommend that you change over to the 3000 set up =
which would have a separate reservoir tank, and yes, one that could leak at=
 the bottom.</div>
<div>&nbsp;</div>
<div>After these cars sit for a long =
time things dry out, shrink; then upon driving they let the fluids out. Its=
a BMC feature. Pull the front wheel (fluid on rim?) and check both sides =
of the caliper and bleed nipple, then move up to that master cylinder =
fitting. Driving always reveals issues. Good luck Ira, Hank</div>

<div>Hi Ira,<br><br>It could be the fittings at the bottom of the =

<div>I drove my BN4 today after a five month rest I drove=
to our local ABFM. On my way back I noticed that the brake pedal felt =
harder and the front disc brakes had a longer stopping distance. Before I =
pulled it into the garage I noticed brake fluid on the driveway pan, so I =
checked the reservoir. It was 3/4 empty. The bottom of the tank was dry. =
Any ideas on where I should look? The leak is towards the front left. Could=
 it be a leaking caliper?</div>
