Hello
Frankly I can=E2=80=99t understand anyone going to Rome and thinking of vis=
iting a car museum.
There is so much to see such as Kees mentioned. In the week and a bit we we=
re there just before Covid, I wore out a pair of shoes exploring the city a=
s best we could. We certainly ate a lot, but with the amount of walking we =
did keep the waistline in check.
Having said that about walking the Metro, trains and buses while hectic are=
all excellent and a lot of fun.
Forget cars and soak in the amazing history.

If it is only 3 days in Rome enjoy the small restaurants and cafe's. Practi=
cally all are good. Remember eating and drinking out is a culture in Italy.=
Do not expect huge portions. Enjoy the excellent food, wines and coffee. I=
talians are natural hosts. Places to see: plenty but if it is your first ti=
me you have to see the Forum Romanum and the Coloseum. That will take care =
for most of 2 days. Just wander around and take in the atmosphere. Do not v=
isit the main shopping streets!!

As said by Kees, there are not many auto museums near Roma. If you are goin=
g to go up north, you WILL have a bunch around =E2=80=98motor valley=E2=80=
=99. I was in Modena in December and visited Ducati and Ferrari =E2=80=93 b=
oth were great!
On the positive front: If you are a car person, you likely also appreciate =
various other machines and so I recommend the Leonardo Da Vinci Experience =
in Rome. We also visited that, and it is not to be missed. See: https://www=
