Stripping the car and power washing everything asap is important. Of =
course, draining the engine and transmission, oil down the cylinders =
turning them over etc. Then decide what to do next. Maybe try to start =
the engine? The car was well taken car of for many years. Someone out =

My son=E2=80=99s TR6 was in his car port in Key West when Wilma came =
through. The storm surge was over the top of the car. He bought a power =
washer and cut a few holes in strategic places and managed to save the =
body and chassis. He forgot to drain the engine and transmission and =
that was another story=E2=80=A6

My MGA was damaged by the flood. After a lot of thought I had to let it =
go because I am still working on the TR4A and don't have time or space =
to work on 2 cars. I found the car is currently being auctioned. I am =
not sure of the implications of the salvage title - flood. I was the =
second owner of the car, which I had for 35 years and still have =
