With the 6-cyl cars, try not to bash the throttle cross shaft in the top
of the transmission tunnel. If bent, it will affect gas pedal feel and,
while the engine's out I recommend installing the teflon bushes on the
shaft. If they've never been replaced they are almost certainly toast.
