Simon-glad you found the problem. That little valve is the whole=0Acontr=
ol of the pressure and release and dirt is the main offender. =0AWhat I=
see on my gauge is pressure over 400-450, then when OD is off.=0Aa stea=
dy bleed down to 300, 200, 100 then in a couple of minutes, or=0Asometim=
es a bit longer, goes to 0. Its a "slow bleed". Fades as the=0Aoil flows=
down thru the valve and that tiny hole. Enlarging it will=0Amake the bl=
eed faster and the plugging up with debris harder to=0Aachieve. They rec=
ommend a 1MM hole if I remember the readings=0Acorrectly, but its a smal=
l drilling to allow oil to pass smoothly to=0Athe sump. This is why you=
don't want 90W gear oil-its to "thick" to=0Awork with the unit, and it=
also foams up in the annulus. Good 30W (or=0A20-50) NON detergent oil i=
s best to keep this process working.=0A(detergents also foam)=0APossibly=
a little oxidation or crud gets between the ball and the=0Aseat, and it=
then needs a smack to reseat the fit. Small thing matter=0Ain this scen=
ario. We all need a smack, now and then, to get with the=0Aprogram. Rega=

=E2=80=99ve managed for so long without one). =0A=0A=09Pressure showed a=
s well into the 470 to 490 range whilst OD was=0Aengaged at +/- 1,500 rp=
m in 4th. Which is GOOD. =0A=0A=09But, pressure dropped to zero immediat=

ris=0Aunder the ball on the seat there OR, if it was clear, then the bal=
