I've been running Pertonix in my weekly driver '64 Chevy pickup for 
probably 25 years. Also probably 20 years in my Morris, and a few less 
in an E type. Never a problem.

That said, about 10 years ago I sent a dizzy to Jeff @ Advanced and he 
recommended points, saying the he felt at that time that Pertronix was 
problematic.
