Think the steering wheel is 180 off.

I think that's bass-ackwards, is it not?? The story I've always heard is that
DMH saw how many cars were being retrofitted with the kits and realized he
could goose sales a bit in the last year of the 100 by offering a factory
'100M.'
This car has blue interior and what could be 'Lobelia Blue' as used exclusively
on the 100S, AFAIK.? Patrick?? I do know that about 70%+ of the factory cars
were OE White over black--ours is--can anybody confirm the white/blue scheme is
factory correct?

Hello
?
Hopefully this will get back to the vendor so these things can be corrected.
?
A quick glance shows these:-
?
Yes the spears on the guards are on the wrong side but only in the first photo.
Open the photos and they have been changed.
Poor fit of the boot lid over the sliding stay.
There is Kopex tubing fitted for the cockpit cold air duct, but not for the
cold air box.
Bonnet return spring covering rubber is too long, should be just over three
inches.
When the radiator and heater hose clamps were changed to the correct type, the
hoses were not change. You can still see the indents into the rubber from the
screw type clamps.
Front spark plug connector isn?t the same as the other three.
120mph speedo? Where is the 140mph speedo?
Flexible fuel line from fuel tank in the boot.
Bolts holding the generator bracket to the engine block instead of studs and
nuts.
Fit of the soft top is woeful.
?
These things are relatively minor as it?s a gorgeous car and the asking price
is what genuine 100Ms are bringing these days.

Can the experts on the list critique this car?? For what he wants for it, it
should be absolutely perfect.? He states that it is a concours example, but
even to my untrained eye in 100Ms, I know that none came with chrome wire
wheels, and probably radial tires were also not available.

Our featured 1956 Austin Healey 100M is one of the genuine, highly desirable,
factory-built examples, documented by a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust
Certificate as well as by the Austin Healey 100M Le Mans Registry. This factory
left-drive 100M wears serial number 232949, and was originally delivered to the
USA in 1956. It is believed that the car was raced in the New York region of
the SCCA in its early days, and in the late 1960s was sold to its second
owners, Dick and Sharon Gunthell of North Salem, NY, who kept the car for the
next 30 years. They eventually treated the car to a comprehensive restoration
which was completed in 2002. The car was refinished in Old English White over a
blue interior and was enjoyed for several years before being sold to the third
owner, who in late 2010 handed the car over to BMC Classics of Florida for
further restoration work and freshening.
While in the care of BMC Classics, the Healey was extensively refreshed and
meticulously detailed to concours standards, with the work exceeding $20,000.
This included a new interior trimmed in correct blue leather with white piping,
and extensive under bonnet and suspension detailing.
Today, this rare and highly desirable factory-built Healey 100M remains in
beautiful condition, most recently part of an important collection of post-war
sports cars. The Old English white paintwork remains in very good condition
overall and the chrome and detailing is finished to a high standard. ?It
retains the correct original louvered bonnet with leather strap, and of course
the signature 100-4 folding windscreen. The Healey sits low on the road as it
should, with its uprated dampers and sway bars and riding on chrome wire wheels
wrapped in Dunlop radial tires.........................
