PDE did two of my original badges (100 & 3000 MK2) for me and their work is=
=20
phantastic and just as I wanted for my concours cars. They do not need any=
=20
facebook, new media etc. promotion, as they have work for months and years=
=20
ahead.
Here in Europe they attend several classic car shows and take your badges=
=20
there for reconditioning.
So please do not send them your badges as it takes even longer for us to=20
have ours done by them.

I=E2=80=99ve used them for a BJ8 Mk III and a 100/6 front shroud badge and =
they are=20
both excellent. The cost is high and the turn around long. This is because=
=20
it is a genuine =E2=80=98Cottage=E2=80=99 industry run by a very small team=
.
I will put up some photo galleries on my website later this weekend with=20
further links etc.

Can't help much, but I recall looking into this years ago as I also have a=
=20
badge with no enamel. It's next-to-impossible to find someone that still=
=20
does this work and, IIRC, it would cost as much to have a badge re-done as=
=20
it would to buy new (if not more with two-way shipping charges). If you=20
find someone who can do it please let us all know. The re-pops are pretty=
=20
good (they ought to be for $200+).
=20
Technically, it's "champleve'".

I have a perfect one which has no enamel or cloisonne "in-fill".
I would like to get either an intact replacement or some info on having
my current badge restored...in cloisonne. Failing all of that, I'll
just get her repainted!
