Hi Michael

Measuring an original 48 spoke wheel placing a straight edge across the
outside of the hub (spinner side) , the rim sits 20mm below it , the offset
is 80mm

The same action on the 60 spoke Dayton the rim sits 40mm below thus placing
this rim 20mm further out & closer to the arch
I also have a Dunlop 60 spoke rim & it is 45mm below the offset on both is
90mm
Given that the 48 spoke is 4" & the 60 spoke is 4-1/2" I assume that the
extra 1/2" rim width is gained towards the outside of the wheel so as not
          to rub on suspension .

I am unable to find on Daytons sites whether the D2-88 is recommended for
the Healeys

Thanks Keith
