With all the discussion about the number stamped on the top of the shock plate
on BT7's I thought would check the BN4 chassis in the garage.  With a fresh
bead blast and coat of primer there is a 6331 stamped in the right shock plate
and HQ stamped in the left. This is a BN4 built in July 1957.  The 6331 does
not correspond to the VIN or batch plate numbers.
