I always thought the original reason for Positive Crankcase Ventilation was to
improve emissions by recycling crankcase gasses back to the intake to
"re-burn" them. Is this true?
It seems to me that the Healey already has a primitive form of PCV. So what is
the gain by adding this to a Healey? Isn't the existing Healey crankcase vent
system already pulling a slight negative pressure in the crankcase & valve
cover?
