I've sprayed a product called LPS-3 onto bare metal and into crevasses--like
the pockets on the rear doglegs--on
occasion. I don't think it's as thick as Waxoyl and supposedly contains a rust
'killer.' I've sprayed it on bare
patches on the chassis where the paint has flaked off and the metal stayed
rust-free and shiny for over a year. I get
stuck in the rain occasionally.
