As with the H series the bearing must be centering in the body. There are
several specific tools for this or you can spend some quality bonding time
with the carb loosening/tightening and trial fitting until the piston
assembly falls with out any binding...

I'm in the process of doing my first rebuild of my HS6 carbs. They were
working okay but developed leaks at the flexible jet tubes. Starting
reassembly with a rebuild kit but I've noticed that the jet assembly seems
to hang up inside the jet bearing. Does one lubricate the jet assembly or
does the throttle linkage pull it back down as necessary?
