Mike,
thank you for sharing this fantastic page.

Yesterday I talked with a friend of mine, who has a 100-6, which he brought
back to the road after several years in the garage. His mechanic told him
that problems with overheating may occur as well, when the fuel pump starts
to deteriorate and the carbs may under certain circumstances get not enough
fuel. He said, that the situation is worse, when the pump gets hot when
driving slow or standing in a traffic-jam. His suggestion was to coll down
the pump with a wet rug for some time and the problems should be gone.

Hello and thanks again to all who have helped. I'll be sending information
on my findings as I work through this cooling problem. Right now I would
like to share an article that I found while surfing the subject on the net.
Although this was done by a bunch of Sunbeam Tiger guys, the problem
description sounds much like what we experience (especially me). Very
interesting reading.
