Hi Folks, When I removed the block from my BN2, BN2L231xxx, built 29 March, 1956. I find that the original paint next to the bare metal was orange. The block, front & rear mounting plates, oil pressure fitting, road draft tube, all originally orange & then overpainted the usual metallic green. Were some of the blocks orange undercoated & final painted Healey Green, or were some blocks originally orange, or what? Thanks for the help, Dave Russell BN2 |
