I have ordered and received a Tonneau Cover for my 67 BJ8 and although I have
owned two other healeys in the past I'm baffled by the presence of two flaps
that are approx. five inches long each covering a 1/2 inch by about 4 inch
opening in the cover. These are located at about eight inches from the outer
edge of the cover. and at about where the cover support bar passes across the
car. The only thing that I can imagine is that holes provide an ability to
feed a shoulder safety belt through. Can anyone enlighten me on this?
