| Has anyone figured out a more durable alternative to conventional paint for the hydraulic fluid reservoir? Both powder coating and POR-15 suggest themselves, but both require curing to about 400 degrees which will melt the tin/lead solder that holds the tank together. Has anyone tried silver soldering the tank? Was that successful? Any other ideas? Thanks, Charlie Frazer cfrazer@uoregon.edu |
