Steven,
The Renault Dauphine was introduced on March 6, 1955 and more than 2
million cars of this type have been built. Last year the 50th
anniversary was celebrated with three different festivals in France, and
there are still quite some Dauphines on the road, although most of these
are restored now. The bodywork was very prone to rust.
If you want more info, just ask. There's a lot available, mainly on
French websites.
Regards,
Jack Aeckerlin, The Netherlands (not far away from France!)
