I had a similar problem on my BJ8. It was not that the engine was too far forward but because the engine had sunk too low. Someone on the list offered a way to check motor mounts which completely escapes me at the moment. I found that the motor mounts had allowed the engine to settle lower over the past 40 years and a new set of mounts solved my problem. Thanks, Jim Werner Louisville, KY |
