My guess would be that these "tired" motors have a hell of a lot more than 60K
miles on them. Hard miles, tons of standing time in all sorts of conditions,
and questionable maintenance.

One assumes that a rebuilt Healey 6 engine is going to get a lot more TLC,
easier service life, and regular oil changes at 3,000 miles, ---rather than
the generally accepted 6,000 mile service cycle, when they were new.

I hope they are right !

--I'll be interested to see if people think there are other factors.
