Keith ... lf they did that , on a 6 cyl. you would have oil running into the
starter , not a good idea .... on a 100-4 you could remove the long bolt and
the oil would run out , not a good idea ...
THE BEST WAY ... remove the complete assembly with the base from the
engine block ...
