I've used bras for cars before. They are great for long trips and don't 
cause trouble if your car is clean and you take extra care if you do 
get into rain or dirty conditions.
I'm sure if you drove all the time with one on and let dirt get under 
it, etc. you could get some damage. But you also get damage just from 
driving.
