I took parts of it back from LA after Open Roads 2002--much of it has been 
bypassed and/or incorporated into other roads but there are still some 
interesting attractions.  There really is "a corner in Winslow Arizona" but as

it is now occupied by a drugstore that was selling "Seattle's Best" coffee.
