That's what I thought.

But Don has a late-model BJ8, which should take the 1/2" rotors, right?
Sounds like he might have calipers from an earlier car?

Moss, for one, shows one part number for all 6-cyl cars with disk brakes 
up to #26704, another for later cars.  I assume the later part# is the 1/2" 
part.
