I first met Jim and Shirley at Conclave 2001 in Minnesota, then spent some 
time with them in 2002 at Tahoe.  A week later when my transmission broke I 
made 
it down to Smitty's shop to buy a replacement.  Jim and Shirley took Mary and 
me out to dinner and he spent the next two days with me installing the 
5-speed.  I'm glad that I got to see them at San Antonio last month doing what 
they 
loved best:  Enjoying whatever car they were in and having a blast with other 
Healey folks.
