Just to be a little more clear on my email below, the frame on the early BN4s
does not attach to the wooden front bow, as on every other 6 cylinder Healey.
I noticed in the Anderson/Moment book that there appear to be some cloth
straps that run from the wooden front bow to the metal top frame bows. Is
this what holds the top frame in place on the early BN4s?

I'm getting ready to install the top frame on my BN4, & have a simple yet
perplexing (to me) question. I know the bottom of the frame is held to the
body by slides, but what holds the top of the frame up while the top (hood) is
in use? What would keep the frame from just flopping over, is it just the
pressure from the top (hood) itself?

Thanks
