New SU Fuel Pump: points or electronic-which is better?

Have any thoughts on whether to go with SU's electronic fuel pump or the
standard one with points?  A vendor told me the new SU's with points are
much improved.  Electronic should be more reliable in theory but on an old
Healey, maybe the sensitive electronics are more likely to fail.  At least
they look and sound the same.

Any experiences or opinions on the electronic SU's?
