Dave,
I understand your concerns, but I believe the best thing for everyone to
do is sit tight until after you get a couple sessions under your belt on
the Thursday test day. Once you get a better idea of what kind of lap
times you will be running, that is when we will go back to the race
director and make group changes. I have no doubt knowing our racers and
seeing where folks have grouped themselves, we will be making
adjustments!
There are a lot of details getting ironed out in the background as we
speak. The last thing VARAC needs at this point is racers who have never
turned a wheel at the track second guessing their lap times and asking
to be moved! There will be plenty of time on Thursday after the track
goes quiet to look at lap times and shuffle the groups as needed.

PS. I am out of the country until Tuesday, and have a call scheduled
next week with VARAC to go over last minute details. Everything is
falling into place, this is going to be a KCup to remember!
