Hi FOT,
Just put a Kent TR4-7 cam in my TR4; 300 duration. =C2=A03 laps at Summit p=
oint so far, and past half throttle under load, power cuts and air fuel enr=
ichens to 10.5:1. =C2=A0BUT plugs are white.=C2=A0 =C2=A0Was running an RC =
needle from the old cam, tried RA and not much improvement. =C2=A0Even when=
moving adjustment to full lean. =C2=A0The last test session is cancelled, =
so want to see air a best guess on a needle to try - figure someone must ha=
ve experience with this cam and SU=E2=80=99s. =C2=A011.3:1 compression=E2=
=80=A6.=C2=A0
Also, just put in a new HD condenser just in case it=E2=80=99s an ignition =
problem.
Any ideas or thoughts? =C2=A0Won=E2=80=99t be able to test the condenser un=
til qualifying tomorrow, but air file holding steady at 2500 rpm shows 11.5=
:1 which seems way rich; old cam would be lean under those conditions.
