1. Loosen solenoid clamping bolt.

2. Take car for a ride. (Out on the street, not on a lift)

3. Operate lever on right hand side of overdrive. (It helps to have a pa=
ssenger do this).

4. If overdrive works, you have an external problem. If it doesn=E2=80=
=99t, you have an internal problem.

earbox, did not take apart the overdrive, just cleaned it.</p>

ut overdrive will not engage. Solenoid is working, and I adjusted lever, bu=

the problem?</p>
