=EF=BB=BFThat is the race that started it all for me. My dad and I went to t=
hat race because Paul Smock and Bill Burroughs were going to make the cross c=
ountry trip to be in it. They chickened out, but we still went. I remember=
the group 44 TR8 being really quick. I also remember seeing Tulius and oth=
er group 44 people there with one of their XJS race cars for sale. I don=E2=
=80=99t remember any details except they were selling it for $7K. Hindsight=
is 20-20!
I bought an SCCA Spitfire after that and the rest, shall we say, is history.=
The number 14 car was raced by Ralph Thomas. That=E2=80=99s the Kastner Bro=
phy Vitesse which I have now. It will be coming back to Mid-Ohio for the Ka=
stner Cup.

I've tried several times to send this as an attachment but I guess it is to=
o big for the list. So, it is now on Dropbox and you can get is thru this l=
ink. I'm no Dropbox expert! But, you can download it to your computer so t=
hat you can blow it up and pan thru it and see the detail. If you write bac=
k with a driver ID that I'm missing dont use the race car number, use the li=
ttle annotations I've added to each car.

about 4 ft long on my wall and I took it to an imaging shop to get it scane=

l racing. Thankfully lots of the former but I'm not sure if more than a han=
dful of us still race.
